Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to act as a client contact and manage cross-functional activities within the field of drug development.

Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to act as a client contact and manage cross-functional activities within the field of drug development. To be the ideal candidate for this Senior Project Manager position you will need to:
Be suitably educated with either a BSc/MScBEng/MEng in Chemistry/Pharmacy/Engineering or relevant discipline.
Have solid experience in project management, business development and maintenance, operations, customer service, and/or pharmaceutical development
Have experience in handling customer projects as opposed to internal projects
Demonstrate leadership capability
Have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Be organized, results-oriented, and strategic thinker.
Be familiar with the Drug Development Process
Be versed in MS Project & timeline preparation and maintenance.
Be PMP Certified preferred.
Be familiar with LSS principles. (Operational Excellence Black Belt/Green Belt prefd.)
The key activities and responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager include amongst others:
Acting as the key individual for the client and organization responsible for overall project knowledge and execution
Leading, building and directing cross-functional teams; chairing internal and customer project teams
Utilize pm methodology tools and templates to mage the projects
Track progress of activities ensuring key milestones agreed with the client are adhered to & within agreed timescale
Evaluate, highlight & escalate unresolved issues, potential barriers to project progression & resources constraints to supervisor.
Provide comprehensive & seamless approach to customers.
Ensure total team preparedness before customer interface sessions.
Assist and contribute as needed to the quoting process.
Assist Business Development in maintaining customer relationship & ensuring return business.
Comply with HSE responsibilities for the position.
