Description
Our client is a consulting engineering company that employs 600 specialists in the UK and Ireland. They are looking for people to join them to deliver an increasing number of projects and frameworks throughout the UK and Ireland, these positions will be based on site in Birmingham, West Midlands. This role has the responsibility for delivering projects either as part of a team for major commissions, or individually for small to medium sized projects.

This role has the responsibility for delivering projects either as part of a team for major commissions, or individually for small to medium sized projects.
The successful candidates will be responsible for taking on significant elements of detailed design and system specification e.g. Design of controls philosophy, panels, etc. and will ensure the delivery of designs within timescales and budget, therefore it is essential that you are proactive and able to work with minimal supervision, and be prepared to work on customers sites as well as in the office.
Specific duties include:
•Carrying out surveys and document client requirements
•Produce feasibility reports and costing
•Carry out conceptual system designs
•Produce contract specifications
•Carry out tender return analysis
•Carry out contract administration
•Supervise in-house and outsourced elements of projects, client installation and commissioning through to handover of the system to the client
•Responsible for Health & Safety and CDM issues for site activities.
In return my client offers a basic salary of up to £35,000, non contributory pension scheme 7% (or enhancement of 3.5% on basic salary) and 23 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
