To project manage all areas in the Procurement of company capital equipment and facilities.
This will include managing a team of engineers in aspects of design, specification writing, planning, costing, equipment selection, construction, installation, commissioning, teast and acceptance of a wide spectrum of capital projects.
Duties include :
Management the processing of Capital Acquisition Authorisation Requests (CAAR) from Design to Completion phase
Management of capital projects to ensure completion on time, within budget and maintaining acceptable quality and technical standard.
Reporting to Senior Management in relation to capital expenditure projects
Liaison between Contractors, Operations and project engineers
Candidates should be educated to Degree Level. However candidates with lesser qualifications with 5 years relevant experience in a Plant/facilities Engineering environment will be considered
Candidates should be able to demonstrate :
A strong background in the procurement of production technology
Strong communication and computer literacy skills
Be highly motivated and committed
Understanding of relevant statutory obligations and legal requirements would be an advantage
The company is also looking for experience Contracts Engineers to be based on the same site and to deal with Facilities procurement, subcontractors contracts agreements and analysis of health and safety auditors.
