Senior Power Supply Design Engineer(Low Voltage & SMPS) - Northamptonshire
We are looking for a senior power supply engineer for design of switch mode power electronics for high reliability, rugged environments, primarily for Avionics applications. Responsibilities span from joint requirement definition and concept design through successful transition to production and ongoing production support. Specific design skills include magnetics design, power conversion circuit design and analysis, analogue circuit techniques, circuit simulation, EMC compliance, and logic / interface circuit design.
Qualifications / skills:
BSc or preferably MSc/ Meng in Electronics Engineering
skilled in switch-mode power supply and analogue circuit design
EMC design and problem solving knowledge
Knowledge of design for harsh environments ideally to Mil specs Simulation / modeling skills using Pspice or similar tools.Personal qualities:
Co-operative team worker with a can do attitude
Computer literate with excellent communication skills
Thrive in a clean, organized environment where attention to detail is essential.
