My client provide a comprehensive service for multi-million pound design and build, PFI and traditional contracts throughout the UK.

THE COMPANY
Provides a comprehensive service for multi-million pound design and build, PFI and traditional contracts throughout the UK.
Specialist sector skills include health, education, commercial, industrial, government, defence, pharmaceutical and retail.
We are currently looking for dynamic and career focused Project Planner to join a leading main contractor. Your role will be to Co-ordinate and plan resources for a multi-million pound build based in London for a long term project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Translating detailed information from contract documents into a construction programme, creating short-term and temporary works programme.
Monitoring, updating and distributing revised programmes to project team and sub-contractors, as well as requisitioning plant & materials for the project.
Co-ordinating and managing information from into and out of the project, including design and technical information.
Forecasting and reporting variations from the agreed construction programme and cost plan, including liaison with management and the Quantity Surveyor.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Have a Construction related HNC/Degree or equivalent practical experience.
Ideally be MCIOB with CSCS Construction Planner.
Be an effective communicator, level headed and a good team player.
Be computer literate with previous experience of commercially controlling a portfolio of projects up to £10M.
Have an organised and systematic approach and be able to liaise effectively with site operational teams.
Have a Construction related HNC/Degree or equivalent practical experience.
