Your role will be, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, manage the Mechanical development activities for the project.
This means being responsible for ensuring that all the mechanical requirements for design & manufacture are in place to ensure that the design is to specification and in accordance with quality requirements
Skills and Qualifications required:
HNC and extensive experience to a level equivalent to Degree in mechanical Engineering
Extensive relevant experience of which at least 5 years should be within the design environment
Knowledge of Material properties
Knowledge of Manufacturing methods
Knowledge of CAD tools
Excellent communication and listening skills
Full driving licence
Sailing knowledge desirable but not essential
Must be able to organise teams of Engineers in projects
Review and sign off the work of mechanical Engineers in the team
Provide help to colleagues
