They are now looking to establish a buildings team in Moscow, to compliment our large project/programme management team that has established a strong market presence.
Job Description
This is a very exciting and rare opportunity to join a team at a start up stage' and have the prospect of shaping the growth of major consultancies presence within a new market, and the obvious career opportunity's that this will entail. You will have the full support of one of the most experienced buildings teams within the industry.
As a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved on a range of small to large projects which are industry and public high profile. The role will be challenging, varied and offer fantastic opportunities for skill set and career development. Responsibilities to include:
•To manage Mechanical elements of building projects, focusing on delivery and ensuring repeat business
•Working as principal designer on various Mechanical projects (covering design of HVAC, Drainage, Domestic water, Fire Protection, LPG etc)
•Co-ordination of electrical, mechanical and public health resources as well as client and design team liaison on projects
•Delivering engineering solutions and reporting results to Managers and Clients
•Assist in the development and management of the team within the Moscow office.
•Providing mentoring and advice to more junior members of the team.
•Providing capabilities and knowledge in the aspects involved in design of tall buildings
•Act as liaison between local clients and design team within the UK.
•Play a key role in developing the business within the Russian market.

Candidate Specification
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, with a high level of Russia based post-graduate experience.
It is essential that the candidate has:
•A degree or equivalent in Building Services or related discipline
•Experience of working with the Russian Building Services (design) market, ideally in multi-discplinary consultancy environment.
•Experience of successfully leading large projects from concept to delivery (£50m+)
•A comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of current technical engineering codes and practices (Russia) and taking a hands on' role in technical matters both at project and divisional level
•Ability to interpret commercial and/or contractual aspects of correspondence with or between fellow professionals
•Ability to clearly communicate technical detail to a non-technical audience i.e. during meetings with Clients
•Ability and propensity to coach and mentor junior Engineering staff
•A Motivated, inspirational manner and be capable of leading by example
•Listens, Consults others and communicates pro-actively
•Ability to provide others with clear direction
•Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
•Demonstrates integrity in all aspects of role
It is desired that the candidate has :
•Experience in technical advisory (building services) role.
•Ability of developing and sustaining internal and external relationships.
•Charted Engineer Status (or equivalent)
•Understanding of how mechanical issues effect wider project.
•Understanding of current best practice with regards to sustainability, energy targets and environmental performance criteria.
•Ability to work successfully with all project stake-holders (Architects/Clients/Contractors)
