Senior Mechanical Engineer (Ref: ASM00133)
Circa £37,000 pa + pension + 26 days leave + private health care. Peterborough.
Working in our design department, you'll work closely with internal staff, consultants and contractors on a wide range of projects. You'll provide mechanical expertise in the design and specifications associated with new water and waste water treatment plants, ensuring the application of mechanical engineering is at the appropriate standard.
Assessing our existing installations and working on product applications with our partners you'll act as a mentor for less experienced mechanical engineers, influencing best practice engineering.
Of degree calibre or equivalent in a mechanical engineering discipline, you'll be a proven mechanical expert with experience of managing contractors and engaging with industry partners. With sound project management skills and the ability to prioritise a full and varied workload, you'll have experience of delivering to deadlines whilst using your detailed technical knowledge to define appropriate solutions. You'l possess excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to use your own initiative and be able to manage your time efficiently.
