Scope of the Role
To lead a team of Building Services Engineers in the London officel. The Senior Engineer will also be responsible for managing medium to major design projects from inception to completion, in liaison with internal and external project teams and clients.

Scope of the Role
To lead a team of Building Services Engineers in the London officel. The Senior Engineer will also be responsible for managing medium to major design projects from inception to completion, in liaison with internal and external project teams and clients.

Knowledge or Experience Required
•Demonstrable previous design experience in Mechanical Engineering
•Demonstrable experience and understanding of the engineering aspects of buildings and sustainable design
•Demonstrable technical capabilities relating to design and co-ordination of systems across a range of building types, whilst acknowledging energy targets and system efficiencies
•Experience of leading a small team of engineers
•Previous experience of managing design of projects with minimal supervision reporting to a Principal Engineer or Associate
•Resource management within the team in liaison with Principal Engineer or Associate
•Detail design development
•Site inspection and surveys
•Candidates must have demonstrable previous work experience in an Engineering Consultancy

•Problem solving skills
•Literate in Microsoft Office / Outlook software
•Personal administration skills
•Delivery of service on time within agreed budgets
•Technical appreciation of inter-discipline design co-ordination
•Time management and personal management skills
•Operational understanding of QA systems
•Understanding of designers' responsibilities under the CDM regulations

Educational Requirements
•Ideally Chartered Engineer or nearing Chartered Engineer status
•BEng or MEng (or equivalent) in relevant engineering discipline
