Large International Consultancy require Construction Professionals to operate out of their offices in Poland.
Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Warsaw
Reports To: Associate/Associate Director
Status: Senior
Qualifications:
Mgr Inzynier with 5 + years experience or Inzynier with 7+ years of experience
Licensed Engineer or Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer
Job Purpose:
To provide high level technical/design engineering service to the Group acting as Job Leader on projects as required.
Person Specification:
A Senior Engineer must be able to deliver to the agreed technical standards
In addition to these skills they must be able to demonstrate a developing capability across all my clients Core Competencies.
Demonstrate a commitment to Continued Professional Development and self learning / development
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Job (Discipline) Leader on one or more projects
Work competently on an independent basis, within the framework of a team
Communicate directly with Clients
Prepare technical proposals for new work
Manage workload of Engineers and Technicians (including verification of quality)
Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions
Prepare Technical Specifications, based on standard documents
Monitor financial performance of jobs
Set up and manage job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure (adjusting these as necessary).
Ensure senior staff is kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.
Ensure all relevant staff are informed of client matters.
Continually ensuring that practises, policies, strategy and services represent the client's best interests and that work is in keeping with current legislation, Polish Standards and Codes of Practise etc.
