Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - London City Centre - SALARY UP TO 50K

As a growing, award-winning, medium sized consultancy practice, that has been established for 30 years, we are recruiting mechanical design engineers to match our commitment to a wide range of projects, in type, size and complexity within the office, retail, education, residential and defense sectors. These projects have an emphasis on sustainable, low carbon design, working with a variety of Clients, including large corporate occupiers, developers and investors.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER / SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - SALARY UP TO £50K PA

You will be experienced as a mechanical design engineer with a minimum of 3 years UK Building Services experience.

You will have a broad based experience across a range of sectors with good computer and communication skills. Familiarity with Hevacomp, Cymap or Amtech would be beneficial.

You will be involved in key aspects of supervising engineers dealing direct with clients in a face to face environment. The role also entails managing projects, staff and the delivery of their services to clients.

Senior Engineers take responsibility for all aspects of the Design and Specification of Mechanical Building Services Installation, including surveying, quality inspections, dealing with contractors, attending site meetings, taking minutes, report writing, O&M manuals and project control and management, supervision of project engineers, reporting directly to the Project Director.
