A Senior mechanical Design Engineer is required for our client who are a medium sized consultancy of 26 M&E Designers in the centre of London. Nationwide the consultancy employ 130 engineers, Everyone matters in this consultancy, and 80% of business is repeat, therefore the successful candidate would not have to develop into a 'sales' role often associated with senior positions in small/medium sized consultancies.
The company enjoy a diverse workload of retail, commercial, schools, residential buildings and a shopping centre contract worth £50 Million, and as it is independently owned, open strategy discussion and input from each individual is the norm.
The Role
Would be managing several projects simultaneously, The successful candidate would be heading a team of 12 on the Mechanical side of the London office, there is the scope to progress through to Associate and Senior Associate in the company, and as the Consultancy have the Investor in People status are committed to Career development and forward progression/planning.
The Person
Mechanical design engineer / Senior mechanical design engineer / Senior building services design engineer - Degree educated, BEng Mechanical, with five years plus experience in a Building Services Consultancy, since graduating.
Member of CIBSE or another appropriate professional body ideally preferred.
Salary upwards of £40,000 is offered for the right individual + benefits including an excellent working environment and opportunity to really count in this medium sized consultancy.
