Our client is a leading consultancy based in the Dorking area with offices throughout the UK. They have requirements for well qualified (PhD or equivalent in Materials Science, Engineering, Nuclear Physics or similar discipline) and experienced materials science specialists in both lead and more junior roles.
The Senior Materials Scientist, Structures Materials Scientist will be expected to analyse structures in a radiological environment and to have a strong interest or experience in one or more of the following

The Senior Materials Scientist, Structures Materials Scientist will have an understanding of the application of material science in the real world and will also need the ability to use generally available technical software analysis packages as well as the ability to quickly become familiar with industry specific packages.
