Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Our client, who delivers innovation in technology through design and manufacturing processes, has an urgent requirement for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer based at West Sussex.

As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will need to:
•Have a background in Electronics Manufacturing and previously deputised a team
•Demonstrate project management ability and consistently deliver results on time.
•Demonstrate understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
•Demonstrate an understanding of product costs and the impact of process changes.
•Ensure compliance with DFX guidelines thru design reviews and providing input at the early stages of project development.
•Provide daily support to production supervision to ensure shipment targets are met.
•Effectively document processes and train production staff/supervision to be 1st level and 2nd level support for production equipment.
•Work effectively as a team member giving guidance and support to colleagues and direct reports.
•Demonstrating good time management skills, effective prioritisation of tasks and ability to remain focussed on main issues.
•As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you may be required to provide cover for colleagues with differing core skill sets; take part in customer and corporate audits and provide cover for Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
