Senior Maintenance Engineer, Asset Support, Instrumentation
Onshore based, Operational Maintenance Technical Authority, supporting Asset Operations / Duty Holder Clients.
To be accountable for the maintenance (and spares) philosophies and strategies and maintenance execution to ensure optimisation of the total maintenance effort, with emphasis on specialist discipline (mechanical, electrical or instrument).
Prime Responsibilities and Duties
• Providing day to day operational maintenance support to Platform personnel, as Technical Authority and Discipline expert.
• Contract Technical Focal Point / liaison with Asset Support Vendors.
• Taking accountability for overall maintenance planning and delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with safety case maintenance requirements
• Reviewing, analysing and modifying the ongoing maintenance (including associated spares) strategy to improve performance, including backlog, productivity, PM review.
• Monitoring, auditing and reporting compliance with the planned maintenance system.
• Implementing a programme of continuous improvement in maintenance performance.
. Proactive input to Production Loss Reporting reviews to minimise maintenance as a cause of loss.
• Providing maintenance input to Facilities Engineering / modifications
Qualifications/Training
• Engineering degree plus operational Asset Support experience within the Oil & Gas industry in a similar role.
OR
• Technical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme plus HNC in engineering or equivalent with comprehensive experience in the role as the senior responsible person on a permanently manned producing installation.

• Good knowledge of offshore equipment, systems and associated regulations / legislation, Maintenance Management systems, Production Operations and interfaces with maintenance, maintenance strategy development, tools and techniques
