Senior Supportability Engineer - join this major Defence player to provide technical expertise on Material Support, Logistic Support Analysis Records (LSAR) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modelling on EW and Battlespace programmes.
The role will be based in Bedfordshire and is commutable from Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Stevenage and Hatfield.
Key responsibility areas:
The preparation, maintenance and analysis of LSARs to recognised MIL and DEF standards.
The preparation and analysis of programme life cycle costs.
The utilisation of Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) techniques and tools.
The preparation and analysis of Spares Optimisation models.
The preparation and maintenance of Initial Provisioning data iaw AECMA standards.
Additional information:
The estimation of work and the preparation of formal estimates for LCC/Support tasks.
You will need an HND/HNC in Electronics/Aerosystems plus experience in Supportability Engineering ILS desirable; ILS modelling desirable; understanding of support scenarios desirable; use of LSARs iaw Mil-Std 1388 & Def Stan 00-60 desirable; preparation of LCC and spares optimisation desirable; use of OPUS 10 & Simlox desirable and use of LSAR software OMEGA/EAGLE desirable.
