Senior ILS Engineer - Reporting to the ILS Group Manager this is a senior position within the military networks ILS Team. The position requires a "hands on" approach working alongside system engineers, product engineers and proposal managers to deadlines within a team environment.
The person will be a senior practising RMA engineer with a detail understanding of RMA practices and procedures. In addition it would be preferable if the candidate also has ILS skills within the communications defence industry.

The successful candidate principle duties will be:- Ensure that ILS and R&M principles feature prominently in the design process.- Reliability modelling from system to the component level. - FMECA preparation to defence standards.- Collation and creation of detailed RMA responses to Invitation to Tender, (I.T.T), Statement of Work, (SOW) and bid proposals.- Creation and compilation of relevant RMA contractual deliverable documentation. - Attendance of both internal and external customer meetings. - Any other RMA/ILS related tasks as requested by the ILS Group Manager.
Skills & Experience
Sound working knowledge in a similar role.
Qualifications, Education
Qualified to degree level/HND Electronics.
Personal Attributes
Enthusiastic and proactive. Ability to meet targets/deadlines. Team player.
The successful candidate must be prepared to travel within the company facilities in the UK and overseas as required.
