Working as part of the Pre Construction team you will work upon a portfolio of estimates and will lead the tender/bid process
Position: Senior Estimator
Package: £60-70k plus full package of benefits including travel and car allowance
Company: Well known Main Contractor operating in the London & South East Region as a successful construction group, recognised as a growing profitable business with a healthy forward order book.
Operating across all sectors most projects are design and build, with traditional and partnered schemes also undertaken, generally project values range from £1m to £30m
Role: Working as part of the Pre Construction team you will work upon a portfolio of estimates and will lead the tender/bid process, whilst liaising closely with operational teams, supply chain and external consultants to ensure projects are competitive. You will prepare competitive tenders, undertake cost planning, lead tender adjudication meetings, prepare reports and recommendations, after submission you will be involved with bid or tender negotiations.
Requirements: You will need to demonstrate experience of estimating building schemes to £10m, have knowledge of all forms of estimating particularly Design and Build and including bills of quantities and negotiated contracts, additionally you must have good organisational skills and be computer literate.
