A vacancy has arisen for an Engineer to join our Clients Power Business Unit.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will carry out a vital role as part of a dedicated technical team challenged with the task of delivering robust and cost effective signature management system solutions. You will be responsible for a range of engineering activity from bid to delivery. This role will challenge your experience of designing optimum solutions in a cost competitive environment.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will carry out a vital role as part of a dedicated technical team challenged with the task of delivering robust and cost effective signature management system solutions. You will be responsible for a range of engineering activity from bid to delivery. This role will challenge your experience of designing optimum solutions in a cost competitive environment.
Working closely with other team members and sub-contractors you will plan develop and deliver sub-system solutions that successfully meet overall project objectives.
Key requirements will include:
* Meet required milestones and minimise risk to the project.
* Take responsibility for a major part of the engineering work on a large project and co-ordinate allocated resources effectively.
* Contribute to project meetings and to deliver detailed technical and progress reports.
* Work closely with senior team members to plan and co-ordinate projects.
* To review, coach and train technical staff to maintain engineering standards and expertise at a high level.
Candidate requirements:
* You will have a relevant degree with proven experience in an electrical engineering environment.
* Experience of working within a team-based, multi-skilled environment.
* Ability to apply best practice engineering and development techniques.
* Working knowledge of safety and environmental legislation.
Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
