Description
Senior Engineer Analyst

The Role:
Responsibilities of this position will include:
Provide technical guidance to engine and machine development teams regarding cooling system performance. A significant portion of this will be in the form of analysis including: underhood thermal and air flow CFD, water system flow and restriction, and cooling system and component thermal analysis. The analyst must explain the analysis assumptions, limitations, and results and provide value added input to the design process
Review cooling test results to correlate analysis models and suggest design changes
Perform analysis to assist teams resolve cooling-related field problems
Predict performance of cooling components to select and size them for various applications
Identify and deploy new tools or processes to further expand analysis capabilities
Requirements:
MS in Mech. Eng (or related science or engineering degree e.g. Aerospace Eng, Physics, etc.) or BSc with equivalent experience
Strong technical and analytical skills
Demonstrated motivation and teamwork
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Strong thermal science (fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer) and component (all
types of heat exchangers, fans, etc.) background
Experience using the Dynasty simulation tool
