Senior Engineer (Birmingham) - £35k BASIC + £6k CAR ALLOWANCE + BUPA +PENSION + 10% BONUS
Role Description
The Senior Engineer will be working on Industrial and Commercial projects in the Midlands region. Typical projects will include the construction of Hotels and Distribution Centres valued between £5 million and up to £25 million.
As the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for a team of engineers and sub contractors. A major part of the role is to develop, mentor and train junior engineers in setting out methods and other site skills. Reporting to a PM, the Senior Engineer will also be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings in order to monitor the junior engineers' work.
Required Experience
Qualifications, such as a HNC or HND in Civil Engineering is preferable but not essential. Experience in the construction of buildings (not housing) will be of obvious advantage.
This role would suit someone already in a similar position or a established Site Engineer looking to progress in to a more senior and rewarding role.
