Joining a team of modellers and civil engineering staff, youll play a key role in delivering projects for Scottish Water, City Council and a number of developers. Youll look at continuing to develop our technical expertise and contributing towards the overall development of our business, especially in the areas of technical innovation and improvement work groups. As well as managing drainage area studies and other projects from a technical perspective youll prepare bid documents and estimates. Client liaison and the mentoring of more junior staff are also aspects of the job.
Most probably, youll have a degree in Civil Engineering, although other qualifications will be considered. Its essential you have experience of sewer network modelling using InfoWorks, however, plus an understanding of UK water industry and regulatory issues. Highly competent at developing yourself and others, youll also excel at communicating and influencing.
