Description
We are looking for a time served Senior Engineer to support the Development Manager in new and re-engineered company designs for the building product sector.
KPJ Recruitment, have been trading since 1974. We specialise in Technical Engineering placements covering Mechanical & Electrical, Civil & Structural disciplines.
Our Client, based in Sheffield, design and manufacture stainless steel / conrete building systems and various other bespoke ancillary products, for applications within the building and construction industry.
We are currently looking for a time served Senior Engineer to support the Development Manager in new and re-engineered company designs for the building product sector.
This role will be primarily concentrating on the Concrete product ranges, although may include other structural elements.
The role will require you to be proficient in:
Calculation methods
Design and Draughting (AutoCAD 2D, although 3D an advantage)
Commercial and legislative awareness.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications: Could be Structural, Mechanical, Building Design or equivalent (whats important is the post-degree experience)
We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and design flair; someone who can see both the opportunity and the answer.
Calculations: Primarily they tend to be those applied to static structures rather than someone who deals with the dynamics
E.G. stress, strain, deflection, fatigue, loads etc.
Software: Anything from Finite Element Analysis to thermal modelling.
