Following on from the success of recent product development and the resulting major investment programme, this manufacturer of specialist motor control/automotive electronics systems are looking for an experienced electronics engineer to oversee a small team of electronics design engineers involved in taking products from concept through to client delivery. This is a "hands-on" role and will involve detailed specifications, circuit design, liaison with PCB designers and product testing/approval. In addition you will produce project plans, manage design/development activities and ensure timely project completion.
You will have a broad based electronics design background encompassing analogue, digital (including some C/Assembly programming skills) and ideally some power electronics design. This will also include the ability to produce schematics, knowledge of PCB design issues and project documentation. You will also have experience of managing project and team leading.
