Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent in electronic engineering or associated discipline, preferably minimum of 5 years experience in design automotive electronic modules.
Able to specify/design microprocessor based automotive products, must have a good working knowledge of controller area network (CAN), local interconnect network (LIN) hardware, must ability program associated software requirements and implement them into designs.
Candidate must also be able to work as part of a team, and be able to perform project management duties. Candidate will be required to attend customer meetings and be able to utilise basic presentation skills when necessary.
A knowledge of basic mechanical design and PCB layout / schematic capture.
