Founded in 1924, our client is the worlds leading supplier of Capping Presses, supplying over 10,000 machines to 76 countries, they are widely known for their expertise in sealing and closure technology both to machine builders and end users alike.
Right now they are looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Project Engineer.
To work on design and build projects and be responsible for the electrical engineering design, detailing and software development for machine contracts up to and including installation on customer sites world-wide.
Specific duties will include carrying out electrical design and development work on new products in accordance with agreed parameters and specifications and all relevant standards and norms, this will include origination, design, detailing, prototyping and testing and all appropriate documentation.
A very important factor is that you will need to travel for this role, world-wide, typically Far East, US, South America etc. to carry out installation and commissioning tasks.
Experience in any / all of the following would be a distinct advantage: PLC (Siemens S7, Allen Bradley (SLC500, Logix5000)); SCADA (InTouch); DRIVES (AC/DC Inverters, Lenze, AB Powerflex); COMMS (EtherNet, Profibus); CAD (Electrical design).
In return my client offers an excellent basic salary - £30,000 to £35,000, contributory pension scheme, bonus scheme, medical care, laptop, phone, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays and overtime payments.
