Our client requires a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in their offices in Manchester working on a petrochemical project.
Suitable candidates will be familiar with the specification of MV Electrical distribution including sub stations, MV switchgear, transformers and LV distribution including MCCs, power distribution, lighting, and earthing.
The applicant must be familiar with the associated calculation requirements, preferably with Amtech experience. Applicants must be fully conversant with BS 7671 current edition and be familiar with hazardous area applications in a Chemical and Petro-Chemical environments with a working knowledge of the ATEX requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified and working towards or has achieved Chartered status, alternatively an experienced engineer HNC/HND qualified and a registered Incorporated engineer through membership of one of the relevant Engineering Institutions.
