Large International Consultancy require Construction Professionals to operate out of their offices in Poland

Candidates must have Commercial Construction experience.

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Warsaw

Reports To: Associate

Qualifications:

Mgr Inzynier with 5 + years experience or Inzynier with 7+ years of experience
Licensed Engineer or Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer

Job Purpose:

My Clients design offices in Warsaw undertake multi disciplinary design work for projects throughout the central Europe and Russia. Their clients principally consist of internationally focused architects and developers and appreciate the skills and added value we are able to bring to their projects.

They are expanding the capability of our Warsaw team and wish to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to operate within this market. The requirements will from time to time demand travel to where opportunities are (current regional projects with English speaking clients are ongoing in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine).
It is desired that the candidate has the medium term potential for personal development to associate level within the region with the ability to grow into the role of developing my Clients teams and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as Job Leader
Work competently on an independent basis
Communicate directly with Clients
Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work
Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians (including verification of quality)
Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design
Prepare Technical Specifications
Monitor financial performance of jobs
Set up and manage job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure (adjusting these as necessary).
Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.
Ensuring all relevant staff are informed of client matters.
Continually ensuring that practises, policies, strategy and services represent the client's best interests and that my clients policy is in keeping with current legislation, Polish Standards and Codes of Practise etc.
