Our leading global client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their NW based Engineering team
We require a Senior Electrical Engineer. Applicants should have experience in the general chemical, petro-chemical and nuclear fields, and will be familiar with the specification of MV Electrical distribution including sub stations, MV switchgear, transformers and LV distribution including MCCs, power distribution, lighting, and earthing. The applicants must be familiar with the associated calculation requirements, preferably with Amtech experience. Applicants must be fully conversant with BS 7671 current edition and be familiar with hazardous area applications in a Chemical and Petro-Chemical environment with a working knowledge of the ATEX requirements. Applicants should be able to undertake projects, studies working to budgets, and prepare cost estimates. The ability to lead or become a lead engineer will be advantageous.
Candidates should be prepared to periodically travel and work away from our Greater Manchester offices
