Our client undertakes ENC/HI RF and RF assessments for a wide range of clients including the rail, built environment and defence & aerospace sectors.
To project manage and perform a range of ENC, high intensity radiated field (HI RF) and RF assessments. This will involve planning, proposal writing, off-site measurements, theoretical work, results assessment and reporting. Other tasks may include for example contributing to business development.
Our client has a strong reputation in performing testing on aircraft and this would be a significant part of the role, which will involve some international travel. Our client became an official outsourced technical services provider in 2004, and provides assessments of radio interference across a wide range of radio technologies including UM TS, Max, WI-Fi, EB, DAT, PM SE, radar and satellite communications. The range of work carried out by the group is both varied and challenging would provide the candidate with a very interesting role.
Our client has state-of-the-art measurement facilities and test equipment together with modelling tools to perform ENC & RF assessments. The group has a strong team ethic and a supportive environment providing an opportunity to learn and advance quickly.
Specific responsibilities are:
- Contribute to planning and implementation of ENC/HI RF/RF trials
- Provide general ENC/HI RF/RF assessments including theoretical work
- Technical proposal and report writing
- Contribute to the knowledge within the group
Essential knowledge and experience:
- A good background in ENC/HI RF/RF measurements, familiar with the range of test equipment, able to develop test plans
- Self motivated, organised and able to work well in a team to meet agreed objectives.
- Four years or more work experience in an ENC/HI RF/RF role
