Senior Development Engineer

The Role:
This role is part of a team of engineers responsible for the performance and emissions development of the companys Diesel engine products used in machine, industrial and electric power applications
The main responsibilities include engine performance and ratings development work
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating engine development work, including pre-test planning, reviewing test data to ensure quality, and post-test data analysis
A key role will be the development of electronic engine calibration maps that will be utilized in the engine control software
You will be responsible for conducting engine system simulation and for selecting hardware for the engine to meet customers performance expectations and all emission regulations
Requirements:
Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience
4 to 7 years of experience in engine performance and emissions development for Diesel engines
Specific experience with the development of electronically controlled engines is highly desired
Strong analytical skills and technical skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively essential
