- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Have a minimum of five years design, development and/or project engineering experience, preferrably in an automotive environment
- Have a working knowledge of CAD, preferrably Pro-Engineer Wildfire 2
- Understand manufacturing concepts and processes
- Understand complex mechanisms and structures
- Understand materials and stress/strain theory
- Be familiar with latest engineering methods
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Be able to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to speak a foreign language would be an advantage
