Immediately they require a Senior Control Systems Engineer to be responsible for programming (PLC/SCADA) and related software engineering activities for the Nuclear business. The position is can be based either in Staffordshire or Cumbria.
The Successful candidate will be responsible for the design of control systems, PLC and SCADA programming, and have involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration and documentation (working throughout to full QA procedures), and PLC interfacing with SCADA packages and/or higher languages (e.g. VB, C++)
In return my client offers a basic salary of c £35,000 (depending on experience), expenses, and a company pension scheme.
