Our client designs and manufactures bespoke robotic pick & place and assembly machines for plastic injection moulding & de-moulding sector. They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Control Systems Engineer to be responsible for the complete control of bespoke machinery projects focussing on the design and development, of the company's range of special purpose robotic pick and place and assembly machines.
They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Control Systems Engineer to be responsible for the complete control of bespoke machinery projects focussing on the design and development, of the company's range of special purpose robotic pick and place and assembly machines.
The company designs their own bespoke robot language but also integrate Fanuc, ABB, KUKA and Nachi robots therefore a good all round robotics knowledge is essential.
The ideal person will have PLC software skills (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Siemens S7), the ability to set up drive systems/servos and have a strong appreciation of mechanical engineering.
This position requires involvement from concept, completing FDS, specifying of equipment and co-ordinating the development process. Good client liaison and team leadership skills essential.
