SENIOR CONSULTANT INTEGRITY
ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY
LOUGHBOROUGH

A Senior Consultant Integrity is now required to support the Head of Practice Safety & Integrity in delivering and growing this companys business relating to Integrity consultancy and to act as an ambassador for them in this broad technical area. This is based around technical support and consultancy to the international oil & gas (including LNG) industries and may include interaction with Operators and design houses and delivery of work in the following example areas: consultancy relating to asset maintenance and inspection including, for example, evaluation of pipeline in-line inspection data, development of advanced defect assessment techniques, corrosion management etc; fitness for purpose assessments for onshore and offshore pressure vessels and pipelines; development of integrity management methodologies and processes for oil and gas operators.

Successful candidates will require a minimum Bachelor Degree in a relevant Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum or Chemical), physics or similar discipline. You will also need operational, consultancy or similar integrity related experience in the petrochemical industry. Good team skills and communication skills in both verbal and written modes are necessary. You will also need the ability to perform essential functions of the job and to represent the company in a professional manner that ensures confidence, trust, and problem solving knowledge in existing and potential clients. You will be self-directed and able to function independently based on experience and technical knowledge.

Other desirable qualities will include the capability to bring customer negotiations to a productive closure. The success of the position will be the individuals ability to communicate comfortably. As a recognized expert for integrity related issues you will provide expert advice to customers, project teams (including non-UK based) and other parts of the company in this technical area. You will act as a key contact point for the UK/Europe region of the company relating to integrity related business development and project delivery. You will technically review, issue reports and present results, conclusions and recommendations from integrity related consultancy work, as appropriate to their customers. You will carry out secure integrity related consultancy work for the Integrity delivery teams through business development activities including engagement with potential and existing clients. You will also prepare and/or review proposals and scopes of work for potential consultancy opportunities, as well as prepare and/or review cost estimates for consultancy projects. Furthermore you will provide staff development and training to relevant company staff through technical support and guidance during project development and delivery, as well as prepare and/or review consultancy reports and documentation.
