A large design and project management consultancy has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to work within their Transport Planning and Management division in Newcastle.
A large design and project management consultancy has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to work within their Transport Planning and Management division in Newcastle.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be running small projects of single discipline under your own initiative, identifying project resource requirements and assisting junior staff in developing their technical skills and knowledge. The technical aspects of this role include evaluating transport problems, using appropriate design aids at competent level with respect to input, analysis and interpretation and preparing detailed methodologies and designs for specific jobs.
You are educated to degree level in civil engineering or equivalent and have post-graduate experience in traffic engineering and transport planning. Coming from a UK local authority background is advantageous.
