SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEERING QUANTITY SURVEYOR/COST MANAGER-DUBLIN CITY CENTRE-JOIN THE WORLD'S FINEST COST CONSULTANTS.
The infrastructure industry is very bouyant in the Republic of Ireland with the government investing billions of Euros into it.
One of the world's largest and most professional cost consultancies is looking to make a Senior appointment within their Civil Engineering Cost Control department. They are a multi award winning top class firm and have offices in every continent.
Senior Quantity Surveyors should expect their duties to include:
•Business Development,
•Management of QS Team
•successful delivery of projects (from inception to final accounts) i.e undertaking all tradition Surveying functions (both pre and post contract)
•Liaison with new and existing clients
•Preparation of reports for financial control
•Promoting the profile of the company by adopting a professional approach and acting with integrity
Current projects include:
Rail and infrastructure,
Road and highways,
Utilities- water, telecomms, gas etc
Most of these projects range from 100million to 1billion.
Experience:
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience in cost control in the civil
engineering industry with quantity surveying experience of a wide range of civil
engineering projects including road and rail.
Qualifications:
Ideally a degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and / or a relevant
professional qualification e.g. ASCS MRICS, CIOB, IEI.

This client seeks an enthusiastic, dynamic, creative individual capable of leading
teams on large projects, dealing with Clients and developing traditional quantity
surveying techniques and cost control within the civil engineering industry.
