Assystem UK is looking for a German speaking Senior CAD Engineer to support methods development. Ongoing contracts on offer paying Limited company rate of 27.00 per hour based in Germany
Senior CAD Engineers have the following responsibilities: Method development including documentation for CATIA PTO / Chassis Input into Global CATIA V5 Powertrain Method Team and/or development of Start Parts / Template Parts / Template Skeleton Parts Align local Method developments within PTE C3P Method team (Rashed Khan) Single Point of Contact between US and Germany SPOC for CATIA end user to address Problems in the FoE Risk & Issue Process Identify needed content and thereby help the OJT to create/organize new Tips & Techniques if required User Acceptance Testing of new C3PNG (CATIA) versions in the Test lab environment Work together with the end user to improve / restructure Global methods which are insufficient for Advanced Role is considered 2nd Level CATIA Support, interacts with 1st Level OJT and escalates issues to 3rd Level Skills Required: Expert knowledge of CATIA V5 toolset and in Method development In-depth knowledge of Large Part Modeling Direct experience with large scale rollout and implementation of PLM solutions and supporting users
Strong organizational and multitasking skills required with a drive for results attitude Outstanding communication skills - both oral and written Familiar with UNIX and Windows environment Skills Preferred: Knowledge of client C3PNG toolset (TeamCenter Engineering / I-DEAS / Vis) Powertrain basic data structure knowledge Outstanding communication skills--both oral and written Language German, native Degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred Please note that this position will be based in Germany.
