Our Client, a leading international defence and security technology company has an urgent requirement for a Senior Buyer & Supply Chain Specialist based at there Malvern site.

The successful candidate will be expected to form a close working relationship with all commercial, technical and scientific internal customers, providing the necessary Supply Chain support & advice from concept to successful launch of product.

Supply Chain Specialist with major exposure to "Best Practice" purchasing tools and Supply Chain Management techniques. A professional team player with strong inter-personal and negotiating skills who can provide innovative Supply Chain Solutions to a complex and diverse range of New Products within a multi business Research and Development environment.
Preferably MCIPS accredited, the ideal candidate will have a track record that is able to demonstrate the ability to maximise the purchasing requirement using consolidation of acquisition, re engineering and Lean Principle techniques that drive out cost & unnecessary waste in order to ensure optimum bottom line effect.
