Matchtech are currently recruiting for a large manufacturer of engineering products for an experienced buyer who has a good knowledge of production process.
Senior Buyer
The vacancy for a Senior Buyer is within the Power Contracts Department. Within this role you will be responsible for sourcing all items of a sub-contract nature, taking into consideration the price, quality, delivery and reliability. Other duties include dealing with enquires on present and potential suppliers, resolving technical problems associated with method of production and evaluating quotations.
You should have excellent commercial, financial and general engineering knowledge, along with experience of managing contracts. You should also be computer literate, self-motivated and able to work without direction.
