Senior Battery Assembly Technician is required to work in Milton Keynes for a well established F1 company.
We are looking for a Senior Battery Technician to work for an F1 manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes.
You will be doing the day to day organisation and management of the battery pack assembly operation, provision of technical support and management of stock and inventory.
You will be supporting the performance of electro-mechanical assembly and associated test activities in the production of high voltage battery systems and lower voltage battery modules for a project.
Your typical duties include:
Organise daily work load, planning around race and test equipments
Manage stock and inventory
Maintain workshop to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
Assemble high voltage battery systems and modules following assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and safety guidelines
Perform testing on battery modules and high voltage battery systems, to include standard validation and post race/test condition diagnosis
Perform testing on battery management systems to verify functional performance, troubleshoot and repair high voltage battery systems as needed
You must:
Have good communication, people and organisational skills
Ability to plan and manage while working under timescale pressures
Be a team player with 'hands on' approach to problem solving
Knowledge of electrical system behaviour and fault diagnosis
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation
PC skills
You will be working 08:30 - 17:30 Mon - Fri, and must be flexible as you may be required to work additional hours linked to meeting test or race deadlines. Overtime is not available.
The salary is approximately 30,000 per annum depending on experience.
