Senior Avionics Technician is required to start immediately for the SAR project based in Valley, Anglesey.

This is an immediate vacancy for a Senior Avionics Technician supporting the delivery of the SAR task based at RAF Valley, Anglesey.

We are looking for candidates to provide Sea king helicopter maintenance and additional technical support to Agusta Westlands site management team.

Your main duties will include:

Supervision of Technicians (multi-trade)

Undertake aircraft maintenance within the trade as tasked by the Shift Supervisor.

Independent inspections

Preparation of aircraft for road or air transportation

Assisting with the ground movement of aircraft

Supporting flight line operations

Second signature for own trade group and any other engineering tasks.

You must have the following skills:

Served an Apprenticeship, service equivalent trade training, NVQ level 3 or equivalent

Supervisory experience

Full driving licence

Seaking training can be provided, however rotary experience is an essential for this role.

Candidates will need Sea King experience although Lynx, Merlin and Apache will be considered.

The salary is 27,443 per annum which does include shift allowance. However, any hours you do on standby you will be paid extra for.

You will be working 12 hour shifts operating on 3 days on, 3 days stand by, 3 night on and 3 days off. You need to be within a 1 hours commuting distance of the site in order to meet requirements of standby.
