I am looking for an experienced Senior Authorised Person to join an ongoing project at Slough Power Station. This project is expected to run for 10 months, and upon completion there may well be other projects available for the right applicant.

In order to apply for this position you must have current SAP certification for electrical switching up to 33Kv, however I would consider up to 11Kv. You must have experience in HV switching associated with heavy industry / Process Industry or Power station.

Your role will be:

Undertake on site risk assessments and when required general site safety audits.
Receive, review and accept subcontractor method statement, risk assessments and testing procedures.
Issue electrical permit to work, sanction for test and other documentation for networks up to and including 11kv.
Witnessing and acceptance of subcontractor testing.
Perform isolations including control of access and key systems.
Experience of construction and commissioning environments

For the right person, I can pay up to £300.00 per day. This is an urgent vacancy, as the start date is for Monday 31st March 2008 (Negotiable dependant on your experience). Interviews will be conducted over the next couple of days, so get in quick!
