Description
Senior Attribute Engineer
The requirement is for an HVAC attribute engineer with the introduction of new vehicle programs and the change in legislation for the HVAC gases in January 2011.
•Specialist area Whole vehicle testing (HVAC testing both tunnel and oversees).
•Planning & co-ordination of vehicle testing
•Overseas Test Planning & Co-ordination
•Assist in setting objective and subjective targets through benchmarking.
•Reporting progress v target of tests in daily start up
•Assist in the whole vehicle development and sign off of products from concept to production
•Assist in the design process with problem resolutions to the relevant component areas
•Support PAT & PMST meetings.
•Write Engineering Reports to support engineering validation and sign off requirements.
•Liaise with the VEMs to ensure attribute targets are met through the most appropriate verification methodology (CAE simulation, rig, vehicle test)
•Engineering Office.
•In vehicle testing at a range of testing facilities to include Hot environment/Cold environment and CWT.
•Engineering Workshop/Labs.
Mechanical / Automotive Degree preferable
5 years relevant automotive whole vehicle testing. With HVAC experience.
Class 3 driving permit (minimum).
Relevant medical for hot and cold environmental testing, or fitness to obtain one.
