SENIOR APPLICATIONS ENGINEER - Working for a global automotive company you will work with the specification of diesel fuel injection equipment for the off highway diesel engine market.

ROLE: Working with customers to define the technical requirements for fuel injection equipment (FIE) used on their engines. Involvement in customer programs to develop and deliver validated FIE product packages. Conducting engine and pump test programs to confirm FIE performance acceptability. Leading / participating in project teams to co-ordinate necessary work to achieve customer targets. Assist in the development of product features to meet customer requirements.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Degree in mechanical engineering with experience of working on Diesel engine test including the interpretation of test data. Experience of managing project plans including engine test programs and using MS Project. Excellent interpersonal skills are also required as the role will require customer contact.
