Description
The Senior Acoustics and Vibration Consultant, Noise will be expected to manage and execute a wide variety of noise and vibration related projects. These projects involve prediction, measurement and control predominantly to cover the rail, marine and defence industries and occasionally more general acoustic engineering.

Our client is a leading UK technical consultancy involved with the rail, marine and defence industry sectors. This position for an experienced and capable Senior Acoustics and Vibration Consultant, Noise and may be based at their Bristol or Dorking offices.
The Senior Acoustics and Vibration Consultant, Noise will be expected to manage and execute a wide variety of noise and vibration related projects. These projects involve prediction, measurement and control predominantly to cover the rail, marine and defence industries and occasionally more general acoustic engineering. Our client is looking for someone to manage the commercial and technical aspects of the projects on a weekly basis and to manage the junior engineers working on these projects. They are also looking for someone who can identify new business opportunities and help develop these.
The successful Senior Acoustics and Vibration Consultant, Noise will have strong experience on some or all of the following
Noise and vibration exposure/health and safety
Environmental noise and vibration assessment
Noise control engineering
Acoustic radiation/propagation prediction techniques such as SEA, FE/BE
Leading noise and vibration measurement trials and surveys
Acoustic engineering on capital projects
