Description
We are recruiting for a Security Project Manager to work for a leading defence company. You will be offered an initial 6 month contract.
The role w
ll be to lead and manage the Security work stream to deliver the Company's contribution to the programme. This involves scheduling tasks, resource allocation, financial planning, risk management, quality planning, issue resolution, client interface and managing a team of up to 15 consultants.
The job holder is to take responsibility for the delivery of the Security work stream within the Programme delivering profitability and growth over the course of the Programme. There is an immediate challenge in organising and structuring the programme to deliver and develop effective and efficient internal business processes, driving down costs.
The security work stream is the most significant portion of the programme accounting for two thirds of the revenue for the programme. It therefore has significant financial impact on the Programme as a whole.

•Prince2 and MSP experience
•Understanding the delivery of products through the allocation, tasking and management of suitable resources
To Programme Manager for reporting of schedule, financial, resource, quality and risk progress.
To RSL Sub Contracts Management team for coordination of tasks, resolution of issues and management of the project.
To RSL Chief Security Officer in his role as primary technical customer.
The successful candidate will preferably have SC clearance
