AirTanker recently signed a prestigious contract with the UK Ministry of Defence for the provision of a full Air-to-Air Refuelling and Air Transport capability for the Royal Air Force.

A fleet of 14 new tanker aircraft based on the Airbus A330 - 200 will come into service from 2011.
We are currently in the exciting start up phase of this programme and need to appoint a Security Manager who will be responsible for all aspects related to security for AirTanker Services including Information Security, Communications Security, Crypto, Personnel, Physical, and ICT and will play a key role in the activities established to progress the successful development of the five key sub-systems being developed by the AirTanker subcontractors, namely the FSTA Aircraft, the Man Portable Mission Planning System, the Ground Mission Planning System, the MOB Ground Communication Information System and the Training solution.
You will be responsible for the provision of all necessary support to enable successful accreditation of the sub-systems, the effective and pro-active management of the production and subsequent maintenance of the Accreditation Document Sets (ADS) necessary for the establishment of the FSTA Service. This will include the preparation of the Operational Security Management Plan (OSMP) for the FSTA Service at RAF Brize Norton, and the development, establishment, deployment and maintenance of the Security Operating Procedures for AirTanker Services.
The role will require the incumbant to provide security expertise and ensure that appropriate disciplines are established within AirTanker Services to meet the requirements of the Project Security Instructions. You will also be require to provide security advice internally within AirTanker Services as well as to other companies involved in the Programme.
We are currently based near Bristol but will be relocating to new facilities near RAF Brize Norton in October 2008.
