Description
We are recruiting for a Security Consultant to work for a leading defence company. They are offering a 6 month contract.
The ideal candidate will h
ve the following skills:
•Knowledge of HMG security policy, particularly the Manual of Protective Security and Infosec Memoranda 2
•Knowledge & skill in the creation and delivery of Risk Management Accreditation Documents sets (RMADS)
•Previous experience as an Infosec consultant would be an attribute
•Ability to create and manage Codes of Connection
•Effectively managing the accreditation as part of the team to ensure continuing accreditation and re-accreditation of the environment
•As and when new services offerings are accredited, move these services into the BAU accreditation work stream
•Working with disparate customer agencies to ensure relevant Codes of connection are managed
•Devise and create a rolling accreditation programme in conjunction with other team members to ensure seamless accreditation throughout the programme
•In conjunction with the Information Assurance manager, ensure service targets are delivered in a timely manner, and to agreed service levels
•Working in a time critical delivery focussed environment
•Accreditation reporting, progress against plan to Information Assurance Manager
•Deliver expected service delivery targets
•Efficiently plan, prioritise and schedule work to meet customers' requirements making optimal use of human resources and facilities; ensure that delivery schedules are met in line with customers' expectations/specifications
•Ensure that staff are effectively co-ordinated across the partner organisations to achieved the delivery schedule
•Ensure that operational effectiveness and efficiency is continuously reviewed and that action is taken to introduce improvements to systems, processes and procedures in relation to CoCo and RMADS
•Monitor service delivery expenditure and report performance against agreed project plans. Work with the Qinetiq programme manager to ensure deliverables are achieved.
•Deliver contractual deliverables on time and in line with projected project milestones
The preferable candidate will have the following skills:
•Recognised security industry qualification
•Previous Infosec experience
•Previous experience of working within an HMG Infosec environment
•Previous experience of service delivery in time critical environments
•CESG Listed Advisor Scheme (CLAS) Member
