Security Architect : £45-55K p.a. + excellent benefits
Looking for a Security Architect who has a strong background in security engineering including requirements analysis, design and implementation. You should have a solid grounding in cryptography and security protocols. Coupled with an appreciation in the business, operational and human aspects of security. You will have experience of security product deployment and use. You will ideally have a post-graduate degree in Computer Science or related field, although broad practical knowledge is an acceptable substitute.
This is a leadership role ensuring that the company's products achieve the necessary security characteristics for the target market. You will play a major role in carrying out and coordinating security review activities for all software development projects. You will act as authorizing body in agreeing review actions.
As a key member of the Engineering department you will take a leadership role in ensuring that all products achieve the necessary security characteristics that are appropriate to their target market through consultation and review of both new and existing systems. You will work with Product Management, customers and Engineering Management to ascertain the level of security needed for all aspects of product definition.
